About

Good day, and thank you for  stopping in. Here you will find ramblings, rants, and reviews of books I’ve read, places I’ve been, and people I’ve seen. I’ll also be posting some short stories and poems I’ve written also that may never see the light of day, to get a little feed back. My favorite poet is Sylvia Plath, and John Fante is my favorite author, and in some ways, my work mimics their style, which may or may not be a good thing. I’m currently working on a novel entitled “Eight Ball Syndrome”, but the title is subject to change without any notice at all, given the amount of people who dislike it (mostly family members). But whoever said you were writing for anyone but yourself? I’m about six pages into it (I can hear you laughing from all the way over here) but it’s simply because I haven’t really had the time to put my everything into it. Plus, there’s still some research to be done, so part of it is laziness. But the good thing is, I’m happy with it, and I’m happy with the direction it’s  going. In the past I’ve started “novels” and I’ve lost interest about twenty pages through. But I digress.

Currently, I’m building a website called bookbum.org, a place where book bums like me can go to find out where they’re favorite authors are signing, what books are worth reading, and what authors are saying about their work, along with other cool bum stuff  I haven’t thought of yet. I’ll be posting blogs about it here, to keep those of you who care, updated, and even for those of you that don’t. Stick around.
